Sender names control what the customer sees as the SMS source. KarFlows assigns each sender to one customer account and one managed delivery route. Another customer cannot use it.

Approval flow

Application Details

The application asks for: KarFlows preserves the approved display value, including internal spaces. DM BLUEWAVE is valid because it is 11 characters including the space.

Network Approval

Approval is tracked separately for:
  • Vodacom TZ
  • Tigo / Yas TZ
  • Airtel TZ
  • Halotel TZ
  • TTCL
An approved sender can send only to networks marked Approved / Active. Pending or rejected networks remain blocked without affecting approved networks.

Send-time validation

Before sending SMS, KarFlows checks:
  1. Sender name belongs to the API token owner.
  2. Sender application and managed delivery route are active.
  3. The recipient’s mobile network is approved for that sender.
  4. Customer has SMS balance.
  5. Customer plan allows SMS API access.
If any check fails, KarFlows rejects the request before sending.
Copy the sender name from the KarFlows dashboard. Matching is tolerant of case and spaces, but the API always sends the exact approved display value.
